Yellow Bass
Bass, Yellow (Bar Fish, Brass Bass, etc.): Caught on a light Brook Trout rod or a small Black Bass bait rod, and a light reel, line, and leader, with minnow bait, in the lower Mississippi and its deep and sluggish tributaries. This species also resembles the Striped Bass (salt water), and is graded with the White Bass. Averages in weight from one to three pounds.
