WORMS IN RABBITS—What causes the jellylike worms found around the intestines of rabbits, and are rabbits so affected good to eat? Are the rabbits of all parts of the United States subject to these worms or are they peculiar to certain districts?
The worms are generated by germs, the same as all other kinds of internal parasites. I would not care to eat animals so affected. I do not believe they prevail in all parts of the country as I have never noted it.
