WEASEL TRAPPING IN DEEP SNOW—What is the best set for weasels in deep snow? Is beef and pork good bait for them?

There are a good number of weasels around here and I have more trouble to catch them than mink and other fur bearing animals. They don’t care for the bait. I tried different baits, beef, pork, chicken, etc. They come within a few inches of the set then turn back; the baits were not always fresh. Weasels are very easily caught. Try rabbit for bait; it is the best bait I know of but must be fresh and the more bloody the better.
