WEASELS—I would like to know how to trap weasels and where to find their dens?
I do not know where the weasel makes its den, or whether it really has a regular habitation. The animals are easily trapped by setting baited traps near where their tracks are seen. If there is no snow in which to see tracks, set the traps in rough spots along the edge of the woods where there are plenty of rocks, logs, stumps, etc., as those are the places most favored. Make a small enclosure and fasten a piece of fresh bait, rabbit preferred, in the back of the pen. Set the trap just in front of the bait and have the pan adjusted to spring very easily. You should read Science of Trapping.
