A great method for locating turkeys if you are hunting an area you have not scouted or you are ever forced out of your hunting area by other hunters because you over-slept, is using an owl call. Turkey will respond to an owl call or any loud noise for that matter, much like a person will if you jump out at them. That's right, you can literally shock a response out of a turkey by using an owl call.
