When on a deer hunt I always stand on a log or rock when urinating. If you stand on the ground, some urine will always spatter on your boots. If you don't believe it, just try doing it barefoot sometime. You'll feel it. I know the jokes about "my shortcomings" are on the way, but I never take a chance on deer smelling anything suspicious.
