Unlawful-Is the use of poison allowed on the trap line in the State of Pennsylvania?
I cannot find anything in the game laws of Pennsylvania relative to the use of poison, but I do not think that its use is prohibited, in fact, a few years ago the state furnished poison to trappers and others to be used for foxes, hoping to exterminate them in that way. It was necessary, however, to follow certain instructions for using it and the poison was to be placed in the body of a sparrow. This bait was not likely to be touched by dogs. Of recent years a good number of states do not allow the use of poison-which is a good law.
