Trolling for Bass-At water depth should I troll for bass in water 15 to 18 feet deep, and at what depth should I fish with minnows?

Black bass go into deep water during the hot weather, and trolling should be done at a good depth. The best places, in lakes, are over spring holes and near the outlet and inlets, over the rocky or gravelly bars, etc. Don’t fish deep with a minnow bait, and try such places as mentioned, also along the edge of the grass, but in more shallow water. Do your fishing with bait early in the morning and from near sundown to dark.
