Trap Shooter
Trap shooting is a fun sport that can directly aid the shooting with his or her wing shooting. In trap, the trap shooter takes a position at one of five stations on the range and calls for the clay bird to be shot. Ten targets are thrown at each station, after the round the totals are tallied and the trap shooter with the highest number of clays broken is the winner.
In the U.S. the trap shooter is confronted by clays that are thrown from one target thrower that changes angles and position randomly throughout the round. In European and Olympic trap, the trap shooter has 15 set positions thus giving the trap shooter the benefit of knowing the direction of flight of the clay prior to its release.
The competition trap shooters generally shoot a single barreled 12-gauge shotgun, with many trap shooters preferring an over and under.
