TOBOGGAN—Would It be all right to tack a thin sheet of galvanized iron on the bottom and hood of a toboggan, to keep the snow crust from cutting it?
I have never known of this being done, but I don’t see how it could harm the toboggan, anyway, but I think that plain (not galvanized) sheet iron would be better, Broad strips or iron are sometimes placed lengthwise on the bottom of toboggans. They make them run easier and prevent side-slipping on sloping trails, to a certain extent.
