Temagami
TEMAGAMI—The Temagami region is a forest reserve, under control of the Ontario Government, and covers an area of approximately 3,750,000 acres. It is at an altitude of 1,000 feet above the sea. The fish include the small-mouth black bass, speckled trout, lake trout, wall-eyed pike, pikep>erch or dore, and common pike. This region includes Lake Temagami, Lady Evelyn Lake, Lakes Obabika, Matawabika, Bay Lake, Rabbit Lake, Anina, Nipissing and a hundred smaller lakes, together with the best portion of the Montreal River.
