TENTS—SIZE FOR TWO— Would a tent seven by nine feet be large enough for two persons for a month’s trapping trip?
It would be much too small for comfort. One man could get along all right with such a tent, and two men could live in it that long if necessary, but there would not be much room. You would have to put your bed in one end, and the narrowest bed that would answer for two persons is four feet in width. This would leave a vacancy of five by seven feet and in one corner of this you would have your stove, which would occupy at least a spot two by three feet. You see that would leave very little space for two of you to move about, especially if you have a table and bench. In a small tent you cannot use a cot to advantage, but will need a high bunk, under which you can store most of your goods.
