Sturgeon (Rock Sturgeon, Lake Sturgeon, Store-Sturgeon, Ohio Sturgeon, etc.): Caught with heavy tackle and smallfish bait in bottom-fishing in the Great Lakes, Lakes Pipen and St. Croix, the James, Rappahannock, Mississippi, Susquehanna, Potomac, and other large rivers. This isolated and distinct landlocked species reaches a length of 6 feet and weighs up to 100 pounds.
