Stevens Pistol-Holster for-Is there a holster made in which to carry one of these Stevens pistols with a 10-inch barrel? How do you carry them? I do not like to carry a loaded pistol in a side pocket, with the muzzle, up under my arm?

As far as I know there are no holsters made for these pistols, but you can make one easily from a piece of light sole leather with the soft portion shaved off. You should make a wooden form of the size and shape you desire the holster to take; soak the leather in warm water until soft; fit the leather over the form, soft side in, sew up and let dry. I prefer to carry the pistol in a special pocket on the inside of my coat, under my left arm. The pocket should be deep and narrow and only the handle of the pistol should protrude. Carried it with muzzle down. Carried in this way it is always convenient for use and is never in the way when using a big gun.
