SKUNK OIL—ITS VALUE—What is skunk oil good for and where can I dispose of it?

What is the use of selling it when you can use it. I will give you a formula for bait which includes skunk oil. First instead of frying the oil out, bake it out and in this way you avoid burning it, making a fine, white oil that will not get hard like moat fat oils. Formula: 2 fluid ounces of skunk oil; 1 fluid ounce of oil of anise, 50 cents; 3 drachms of assafoetida, 5 cents; total 35 cents. To keep from freezing add about 6 or 7 drops of alcohol. If you wish to make this bait stronger add one- half fluid ounce of oil of rhodium.
