Skunks-When They Feed-Do skunks come out of their holes every night during the mild fall weather?

Skunks, when they have had a big feed, I have observed, some times lie in their holes several days. Sometimes they carry stuff into a hole and eat it in the hole, without coming out. A skink that has met a fox or narrowly escaped an owl may sometimes keep under cover several days from fear, if it has a bad scare. I think skunks suffer from indispositions at times, due to gorging, perhaps, and so keep still fasting.
