Skunk-Fur Side Out-I notice many of the pictures of trappers catches show skunks with the fur side out, and I was of the impression that only foxes and one or two other large animals were turned that way. Does it make any difference which way they are stretched?
Foxes and lynx, only, should be turned. It is not advisable to turn skunks fur side out. No skin should be placed on the board that way, and if it is desired to turn them they should be turned after they are dry, or nearly so.
