Skunk-To Kill Without Scenting | |

Skunk-To Kill Without Scenting-Here is another way; tie a trap on smallest end of a fifteen foot pole by end of chain; when skunk is caught drag to stream and drown. He will not leave any odor behind and will be almost entirely free from odor to skin. If there is no water to drown him, you can strike the skunk over the small of the back with a good pole about twelve feet long. I have killed them many times both ways. This way of drowning is a sure way, for one is apt to miss the small of the back when striking.
