Skunks-Enclosures for

Skunks-Enclosures for-How large an enclosure would be necessary for one male and six female skunks and their offspring? There are to be well fed and remain in the enclosure only one season. Would not ordinary poultry netting of 1 ˝ inch mesh be all right for fencing for the underground portion at least? Would a strip of tin fourteen inches wide placed four feet from the ground be all right?

Only a small enclosure will be needed for one season; I would say 15x25 feet. I would not advise the use of 1 ˝ inch netting anywhere and suggest that you make the underground portion of inch boards, placed close together. Fourteen inches of tin placed four feet from the ground is good.
