Severn River
SEVERN RIVER—Is a fine stream about 60 miles long, many small streams emptying into it. Good fishing is found in this region, which also includes Sparrow Lake. It is reached through Severn on the Northern Division of the Grand Trunk Railway System, and Sparrow Lake on the Canadian Northern Ontario. Fly-fishing for bass is sometimes effective on the Severn River, especially at the foot of one of its numerous rapids.
