No shotgun, unless of large bore and specially designed for long range shooting, will kill game at 100 yards and will seldom do it then. The rifle is the only gun to use for such distances and I think you would find the model 18go Winchester .22 W. R. F. perfectly satisfactory. If you want something more powerful, try the .25-20 or the .25 Stevens rimfire.
