From my little hunting experience so far I would like to pass on to an even more inexperienced hunter to really take your time before you shoot! When I shot my first roe deer I was so nervous before the shot, that I really had to take down my rifle again for almost a minute and take a deep breath, find a new and more secure position and then a shot at close distance (maybe 50 meters). Everything went fine and the fawn died quick, with one shot.
So that’s my tip, take your time, aim carefully and shoot only if you feel comfortable!
Greetings from Vienna.
