Pickerel
Pickerel: Caught on an eight-ounce bait rod and a bait reel with minnow and frog bait in rivers, lakes, and ponds from Maine to the Mississippi, and in Southern Canada. Weighs up to eight pounds. The Pickerel is a member of the Pike family and is the commonest fish of the kind.
