Get a jar of peanut butter. Remove the lid and use nails or screws and attach it to a tree about 36" above the ground. Cut the bottom off the jar and screw the jar back on the lid. Start doing this early in the year. The deer love it. When hunting season comes, set a stand on the trail the deer use to get to the jar. It's not a guarantee, but it helps. Check local laws first about putting food out.
