Bonito, Pacific: Caught on the troll a half mile from shore. Weighs up to 13 pounds. Ranges from San Francisco southward to Chili. Abundant in Monterey Bay at Santa Catalina Island, and about the Santa Barbara Islands in the summer and autumn. Resembles the Bonito of the Atlantic. See "California Fishing."
