OWLS — What is the best method for catching the large Arctic owl?

I have never trapped for owls or heard of anybody doing so, but have caught them in traps set for fur bearing animals. I used the following set for fishers and it seemed to be a pretty sure one for the owl: I set the trap in a notch cut in the end of a 5-inch pole and placed it over a stump so that the trap end was about 4 feet above the snow. I hung the bait from a limb of a tree so that it was about 2-4 feet above the trap. It’s a sure catch if they find it. Set along the edge of dense dark swamps.
