Otter-When Prime-I would like to know whether otter are prime in Wisconsin by September 15? Has any on ever seen a white woodchuck? What would one be worth? One was caught in this neighborhood, but escaped.

Otters are never prime anywhere on September 15th. They are even a little later in becoming prime than the mink, and it is not at all likely that you would find any of them fully prime before the 10th of November, in your part of the country. The writer has never seen a white woodchuck, but I do know that they are found occasionally. Those who have any live animals to sell usually set their own price, and if it is reasonable, the buyer will pay it.
