OSPREY (Falce aquilu ossifrugus). The sea-eagle, or fish-hawk, with yellow cere and half-feathered legs; is about the size of a peacock ; the feathers white at the base, iron-coloured in the middle, and black at the points. It is found in many parts of Great Britain and Ireland, and commits terrible destruction amongst the fish.
