NORTHERN MINNESOTA HUNTING AND TRAPPING— What are the hunting and trapping conditions in Northern Minnesota?
In regard to the hunting and trapping conditions of Minnesota will state that there are plenty of deer and moose, also a few bear in the northern part of the state. The counties with which I am most familiar are Cook County, Lake County, and St. Louis County, where the big game hunting is of the best. Trapping in these counties is fair, if you find the right places. The furbearing animals are mink, muskrat, otter, fisher, marten, badger, wolves, and weasels, in great numbers, also a few foxes of various kinds, mostly red, and some skunk.
