FACT, Different bucks like different trees to rub. Some like hardwood whips, and some like 10" hemlock. I have seen rubs on all kinds of trees, big, small, hardwood, and softwoods. Bucks pick out what they like and stick to them. So if you are in the woods and see a hardwood whip rubbed up, it may be from a 150-lb. fork horn or from a 250-lb. bruiser with a 12-point rack.
