Muskrat Turning Blue-Cause-Can you tell me what causes a muskrat skin, taken January 2nd, to turn a bluish color, like an unprimed skin, when it was dried in a cool, airy place.
In all probability it is an unprimed skin. You seldom get a fully prime muskrat before February and some not fully prime until March.
