MUSKRAT SNARE—I would like to know how to set a snare for muskrats.
I have never tried to snare musk rats, but think it could be done by hanging a wire noose in the entrance of the den, fixed so they would drown. They could also be captured, I believe, by setting spring-pole snares on their trails on the bank. These are only theories and might not work out in practice.
