Muskrat Law-Is there any law in Wisconsin that prevents me from putting muskrats in a creek that crosses my land? I mean to put netting in the creek at the borders of my land, to keep them in; will the law allow it? Would I be allowed to kill them at any time?

In your state muskrats are protected by law from April 10 to November 15. You would not be allowed to kill them between these dates. I am not certain whether you would dare enclose your land to prevent them from escaping, but think you could on small streams Large or navigable streams cannot be lawfully fenced.
