You are in a better position to know about the sizes of muskrats in your section that I am. Eastern muskrats, when properly stretched, will run about as follows: Width of large skins at base, from 6-8 inches, length, 16-18 inches, medium, 6-7 inches wide and 14-16 inches long, small 5-6 inches wide, 12-14 inches long. From most parts of the Northwest they will run much smaller than this. I do not know how they run in your part of the country.
