Moonlight Nights-Do skunks, opossums, muskrats, foxes and other animals run much on warm nights if it is moonlight?
Yes, I don’t believe the light makes any material difference, though it is a common belief among trappers that such animals travel most on dark, warm nights. As a rule, in winter the nights are only warm when rainy weather is near, and on such nights it is invariably dark.
