Mink-Signs In Snow-Do mink work under the snow in winter or do they den up? I seldom see a sign of them here in winter after the snow gets deep.

In the Northern States and Canada mink travel very little after the deep snow comes, but they do not den up. They make shorter moves each night or day and at that time of year their tracks are not discernible after a few days. Some trappers say they work considerably under the snow, but I have never noted it.
