MINK CATCHING ON LAKE—How can I trap mink in a lake?
If I could go along your lake shore I am sure I could fine good places to set traps, but as I cannot do so I am afraid I cannot help you much. If you can find open spring holes in the edge of the water you can set traps there, under an inch or two of water, with a row of stakes on each side. At the mouths of creeks emptying into the lake one can usually find good places, and traps may be set with bait anywhere along the shore.
