I have been a predator hunter here in west Texas for well over thirty years. It is relatively flat terrain and sometimes I have to push the range limits on my customized barreled TCR 87, 223. I have a small crow feather tied behind the muzzle tamer on my rifle to help me judge(at a glance) wind speed and direction at least at the barrel. Helps a lot on the longer shots. The angle of the feather indicates the wind speed, judging that comes from personal experience. Thank You
