Marten-Where Found-I would like to know the range of the marten in the United States and Canada.

Martens are found in the Cascades southward into California. They occur again in the Rockies and range southward to Colorado. They are also found in limited numbers in Northern Minnesota, the Adirondack Mountains of New York, the White Maintains of New Hampshire and northern Maine, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. They extend northward in Canada to the northern limit of timber growth.
