Loose Revolver Cylinder-The cylinder of my Colt’s Double Action revolver, when fully cocked, is very loose. Is it dangerous to shoot in this condition, and how can it be fixed?
I cannot say what is wrong, but any gunsmith or mechanic should be able to locate the trouble. If you will send it to the makers they will tell you what is wrong and what it will cost to have it repaired. I do not think there is any danger in using it when in this condition. I have often fired revolvers that had loose cylinders.
