The Lake of Bays district comprises Lakes Vernon, Fairy, Peninsula, Mary and the Lake of Bays, and is reached via Grand Trunk Railway to Huntsville, 145 miles north of Toronto, and thence by steamer to any of the many points on the chain of lakes.
