KILLING POWER OF .25-20—Is a .25-20 rifle powerful enough for deer and fox at 100 or 150 yards? Would a .22-20 be better?
It is too light for regular use for such large game as deer, but it will kill deer at reasonable distances, if one gets a, good shot, especially when the high velocity cartridge with soft-point bullets is used. It is all right for foxes. The .32-20 may be some better for deer but it is doubtful.
