Take a 1" piece of schedule 40 PVC tubing 12 inches long and add a 90 degree fitting on each end of the 12 inch piece of PVC using PVC cement. Then take a 6 foot long piece of nylon cord and run it through the PVC tube. Connect the two ends of the nylon strap by either sewing the ends together or tying the two ends together. To use the device, place it under the animals neck, put the PVC handle through the nylon strap, pull it tight and tow the animal out. Total cost to make the device; less than $2.00. Time involved to complete the task, less than 30 minutes.
