When planning to hunt big game, keep in mind what the wind is doing. Know the area, and use maps. When you arrive at your hunting area, park at least one half mile away, from the down wind side. You can go forward and to the sides, (cross wind) and effectively hunt into the wind. Move slow and quietly while watching in all directions. You will begin see nature at it's best, and before it sees you. Happy hunting.
