I have only been hunting for about 4 or 5 years. The guys I hunt with are very aggressive and we put in a lot of miles in the backcountry. I have figured out that lots of hunters take a break in the middle of the day and go back to camp for a lunch break and maybe a nap. Whatever the case. I have noticed a lot of deer movement happens during this time period. My buddy and I both took a nice buck last year within 20 yards of each other mid afternoon when most other hunters were sitting in camp doing what ever they do.
