Hunting and Trapping Trip-If you were going on a hunting and trapping trip somewhere in the United States where would you go?

O no I am not so easy as that; you can’t learn of the good places to trap in that way. You will have to read the H-T-T and lean of them in the same way that I do. To be serious. I know no more about the good places to hunt and trap than the average reader of this magazine, for, aside from my own personal trapping experience. I have to depend on the contributions to this publication for my knowledge of conditions, and everybody has his own experience and the magazine to draw on, the same as I. Not having considered a hunting and trapping expedition recently, I am not prepared to say where I would go. I don’t know of any place in the United States in which I would be content to follow trapping, so I would probably try to find something more to my liking in Canada, Newfoundland, or Alaska. But I would steer clear of the plains of Canada-Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba-anyway the greater part of these provinces would be too tame for me. For hunting, there are many good placed in the United States, and the best place to go would depend much on the kind of game sought.
