There is not as much hunting and trapping below Fort Benton on the Missouri as there is above. A good place to go is the Monarch, Cascade or Choteau and out to Sun River Springs. Sun River is a tributary of the Missouri. There is good hunting all up through the mountains, especially on Swan Lake, near Kalispell. There are black and grizzly bear, mountain lion, bobcat, deer, elk, sheep, wolves and all kinds of small game.
