Horse Fish
Horse-Fish (Moonfish, Humpbacked Butterflsh, Sunfish, Jorobado, Blunt-Nosed Shiner, Pug-Nosed Shiner, etc.): Caught on light tackle with bits of clam, crab, and worm bait in the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf of California and southward along the coast of Panama. Abundant in the West Indies, and a frequent summer visitor all along the Atlantic coast as far north as Massachusetts. Measures up to twelve inches. Ofjen confounded with the Moon-Fish, which it resembles.
