I am also going to Oregon with the intention of homesteading, but do not intend to go until the spring of 1913, says one H-T-T reader. I do not believe there is anything to be gained by going there in the fall unless it would be to trap for fur bearers, which are none too plentiful, but it is a very good place for one who is looking for good land. I am going to Harney County. The southern part of this county is somewhat rolling and there are numerous small streams, bordering with timber.
