Haliburton Region
HALIBURTON REGION—Haliburton is 123 miles north of Toronto, situated on Head Lake. Excellent trout fishing. Reached by the Grand Trunk Railway System. The trout lakes in this region are not as easy of access as some of the other districts, and the distance to the several localities averages 15 to 20 miles, which has to be covered in wagons over somewhat rough roads. There is no accommodation at any of the lakes, and camping must be resorted to.
